Health Funds

At Graceville Dental Surgery we are affiliated network providers for all major health funds. We are the only Bupa Members First Platinum and Medibank Private Members’ Choice Advantage provider in Graceville, Chelmer, Oxley, Sherwood, Corina and surrounds. We are also part of the HCF “More for Teeth” program and are preferred providers for CBHS and NIB.

This is a huge tick of approval from the largest health funds in the country and reflects our extremely high standards of service and quality.

If you are a member of any of these health funds, you can be assured that your out of pocket costs at Graceville Dental Surgery will be kept to a minimum. We have been selected by these funds as we uphold the very best in quality dental care and customer service standards. We also have agreed to a schedule of fees to these Health funds that are in many cases, lower than what we would otherwise charge.

The Health funds also pay you a much higher rebate for all your dental treatment with us than they would at another dentist who isn’t part of their network. This ensures you have peace of mind with regards to the costs of dental care and allows you to budget confidently for your entire family.

Bupa Members First Platinum

As the only Bupa Members First Platinum Provider in Graceville and the neighbouring suburbs, our patients do not pay anything out of pocket for preventative treatments including check-ups, cleans, most routine screening x-rays and fluoride treatments. Furthermore, Bupa members who hold extras cover that includes dental will receive 60-100% back on most treatments with us (this will depend on your level of coverage and your annual limits).

If you have a family health fund plan with Bupa, which includes both hospital and extras cover, we can potentially provide your children with “Gap Free” dental for most general treatments, leaving you with no out of pocket expenses for your children if they are under your cover with certain policies. Better still, this cover will continue for your children up until they are 25 years of age.

We are very proud to have been selected to be part of the Bupa Members First Platinum network. You will not have to worry about having much bigger out of pocket fees with us when compared to other dental practices that aren’t in this network.

Medibank Private Members’ Choice Advantage

As the only chosen Medibank Members Choice Advantage Provider in Graceville and the surrounding suburbs, our patients who are with Medibank do not pay anything out of pocket for preventative treatments including check-ups, cleans, most routine screening X-rays and fluoride treatments.

When you attend a Members Choice Advantage dental practice, you will get significantly higher rebates on all treatments and in addition to this, our treatment costs are much lower than our normal fees.

Please be aware that most other dental practices are not part of the Medibank Private Member’s Choice Advantage provider network and as such you may have much bigger out of pocket fees with them. We are very proud to have been selected to be part of this small network of dental practices, and especially the only one across Graceville, Chelmer, Oxley, Sherwood and the surrounding community.

At Graceville Dental Surgery, we participate in the HCF “More for Teeth” programme and thus, are preferred provider dentists for HCF. This means you will receive 2 GAP FREE checkups, cleans, X-rays and fluoride treatments per calendar year.

We are also preferred providers for CBHS and Westfund. As a result, members of these funds will receive 2 GAP FREE check ups, cleans, X-rays and Fluoride treatments per year.

We are also a NIB First Choice Provider at Graceville Dental Surgery. Members of NIB will receive higher rebates at our practice compared to practices not affiliated with NIB. That means less out of pocket expenses for you and your family.
